This product addresses concerns of ‘no torque converter lock-up’ when vehicle is equipped with after-market LED tail / brake lamps.

The problem occurs because the LED brake lamps will allow a build-up of voltage on the brake lamp lead when the tail lights are on.

The ECM ‘sees’ this voltage and interprets it as ‘brake pedal depressed’, thus not allowing converter lock-up.
