Membership Tour A604 Rebuilding Tips

Code P1775 Solenoid Switch Valve I had a 2000 Caravan last week that would consistantly set code P1775, solenoid switch valve latched in the TCC position. When I disassembled the valve body, I found that the switch valve wasn't stuck at all. It was free as ever. However, removing the valve from it's bore revealed a chip missing from one of the lands of the valve. The attached image shows the solenoid switch valve and it's defect. I hope this helps someone in the future.
