2015 Ford F250 6R140
Complaint: Delay in Reverse.
Cause: 3/5/R apply and balance piston seals worn due to roughness of the pistons.
Correction: Replace the apply piston and balance piston.
Part numbers related to the repair: RFBC3P-7H359-AB and RFBC3P-7C117-AB

Additional Notes: This complaint happened after about 6 months into a rebuilt transmission. Valve body was replaced when complaint started and did not fix the complaint. The transmission was disassembled and during inspection you could see that the seals looked worn. After further inspection you could see the roughness of the pistons check attachment below. After replacing the pistons with new ones and reassembly the complaint was gone.
