Like Pat said expensive $$$ unit to build. Parts can be difficult to source at least here on the east coast.

E clutch hub wear is common. D clutch piston is riveted in the housing requiring special tools to reseal otherwise you have to replace the whole output. Transtec sells the tools $$$ and are different per the size of the trans (45/50, 55, 70/75/90.

May or may not need snap ring protector tools to remove large housing snap ring. Ebay.

Subject: TRNW-2: 8HP75 are these rebuildable

Are these things rebuildable? If so, what else is needed outside of TC, LS Kit, PanFilter, and any broken parts. If it does need hard parts, are those available? Units are on national back order from Dealer. Anyone else sell these like Jasper or someone else?

thank you,
brett
