I just built one last week and don't remember if that's possible, lol Its been a rough few weeks. From: trnw2-bounces at trnw.net <trnw2-bounces at trnw.net> on behalf of Frank Grieve via trnw2 <trnw2 at trnw.net>

2000 Dodge NV4500 replacing input, cluster, bearing and syncros for lube failure. The countershaft has no endplay. I'm certain the front bearing and race are bottomed out and the rear bearing is seated. The rear retainer sits about .060 from bottoming out on case. If I tighten the retainer it binds the shaft and i already ruined one bearing trying to pull it together. I'm tempted to put some washers under the rear retainer to get some endplay but gosh don't want to. Anybody ever comer across this?
