TRNW-2: ZF8HP45 (850RE & 845RE) P0733

Dan,

Common problem. It's the 'D" clutch that is in trouble. Yes, complaint is
on 3-4 but it sets 3rd gear ratio code.
The drum has a riveted piston housing similar to very old Mercedes units,
that housing fails. There are $1000.00 repair
kits available for the drum, and I know off an alternate method of
repairing the drum.
