TRNW-2: GM 10 spd

We haven't done many 10Ls either, but like Pat mentioned the 10Rs have been good to us (way to go CDF drum!). We have had to replace VBs on the 10Ls because of circuit codes. I have paid the core charge on the 10L VBs and fixed 2 or 3 other transmission by getting solenoids off of them and transplanting them. I know you are not supposed to do that, but VBs are hard to get and expensive. I think we have 2 10L VB cores that we paid 100.00 core on and been robbing parts off of. Now the core charge is 1,000.00

Now back to the 10Ls, we are seeing them come in with 100,000 miles and shuddering. What a BUMMER to get the pan off of them with ESS! Anyway a total fluid exchange seems to get rid of the shudder, but we are seeing a pattern of them coming back after 20,000-30,000 miles shuddering again. We just had a shop meeting Friday and decided we are going to start recommending overhauls on then instead of total fluid exchanges. What are yall doing on the 10Ls shuddering?

My UPS driver traded his truck in because of this problem.
