Richard,

Runaway line pressure and early design issues here.

If i recall the year correctly prior to 2011,the old drums are prone to cracking near the hub weld.  It’s one of the reasons I have your air check tool!

The revised drum has a small bleed and QR code to ID and less prone to cracking here.  I use these drums to replace the damaged old design.

I have not seen the late style crack yet…but I’m sure some have.

Steve, that link and part # is to the 6L90 loaded drum. They are taller than the 6L80. 24259848 will the oe part number to the one he is looking for. I had well over 60 stocked up before they went back ordered/ out of stock. I usually bought them from Amazon or rock auto for the cheapest price. Now neither have them.
