TRNW-2: A518 46RE 47 RE 48RE FWD Check Ball

Hi Gear Wizards!

Whats y'all opinion on what material Check Ball to use in a 46/47/48RE model transmission in the Forward Circuit? OE they all come with a steel ball in FWD and Reverse.
Im aware there's a TSB on using a Torlon Check Ball in the reverse circuit where its common to wear the Seperator Plate.
Would it be safe to use a Torlon Check Ball in the Forward Circuit? Theres some units coming in lately where the Forward has worn into the Seperator plate more as usual, not as much as with the Reverse location, but where the Sep plate is still re-useable.
