I would just do a Transgo kit in it, you use the same reamer for the 6T40/70/ 6F35. Also ream out the pulse dampers. I've done a hand full of the 8L90 valve bodies with great results, I had no choice because they weren't available at the time.

Subject: TRNW-2: 8L90 Valve Body Interchange

Group,

I have about 5 new 8L90 valve bodies in stock (GM). The current one I need 2021 Express 2500 with a 4.3 liter engine I don't have it. It is suppose to take 19435580/24065873. The valve body is worn out all over AFL, Acc , etc and a solenoid circuit code. So what I am wondering if anyone has tried install say a 2019 up valve body that wasn't the exact part number GM recommends? Is there some sort of way to decide if you can interchange them? I don't know it might not even take the programming if it isn't correct. Any ideas?
