TRNW-2: 6F35 solenoid question

  Ford does sell the individual shift solenoids separately,  has anyone
tried replacing just one of them and then programming in the strategy for
that one solenoid ?  I've no experience with Forscan myself,  but we've
recently installed it on one of our laptops and used it once to install
strategy on a 10R80,  but that is the extent of our experience ,  I've got
a unit with a Solenoid B issue , and don't really want to buy a solenoid
body which is over $400
