TRNW-2: MISCELLANEOUS, 2018 SILVERADO 5.3 WITH A MISFIRE

Here is an update on my truck although I hate to litter the mailer with this thread. If you are offended, please forgive me, delete the post and move on.

I removed the valve cover and found one of the lifters is collapsed. I forgot to take note if it was an intake or exhaust but that doesn't really matter. #1 cylinder.

I proceded to remove the intake under the impression that I shouldn't have to remove the fuel rails to remove the VLOM. Wrong! I did listen to Art and
ordered the fuel rail tool but it was on back-order. 🙁

I watched a dude on YouTube try to pry the fuel rail out and he bent the crap out of it. LOL

Looks like I will have to try my luck with the cheapies on Amazon while I wait for the OEM tool.

Special thanks go to Jim Bockus for getting me some coaching on how to fix this thing. My goal is to un-stick the lifter and turn off AFM.
