TRNW-2: Chevy Active Fuel Management Killing 6L80's?

Im rebuilding a jasper unit 4l60e right now.  I get a 4l60 every 3 to 6
months, I have kinda priced myself out of the market in my area near San
Antonio, were shops around here still patch them up for 1200 bench and 2200
full job, I won't bench anything electronic and I'm up to 4200 for a
rebuild with r&r on a 4L60e.
