TRNW-2: c4 valve body on a c5

Are you talking about the c5 with the bellhousing that bolts to the case or the c5 with lockup torque converter?? I don't think the 8 bolt will fit the 9 bolt case. There is a hold down plate on the 8 bolt that hits the case . It will feel like it bolts down but it will bow the v body. Does no apply to all cases.
