TRNW-2: RE7R07A TCM Failures

Anyone on the list come across any better solutions for P0720 TCM failures on these RE7 units?  The new OE mechantronics keep rising in cost where selling these is challenging.

Just curious.

Upfix had offered a specific repair for this problem on these units, but appears they no longer can get the necessary parts to complete this repair successfully.  We tried them out back towards the start of the year and ended up in a complete disaster on time and margin, they refunded my purchase price as admitted they had a problem getting them fixed.
