TRNW-2: 6r80 broken od shaft

Has anyone seen a broken od shaft on a 6r80? I’ve worked on my fair share, and this is the first I have seen broke. Granted the od clutches are flat worn out metal to metal also, but anything special that may have snapped the shaft?
