TRNW-2: 4L60E Input Shaft Speed Sensor

4L60E Input Shaft Speed Sensor
Local GM Dealer claims this sensor is discontinued. Other supplier has after market version on backorder.
I guess I have to re-use the original.

In case it fails what is the exact procedure to delete this sensor function with HP Tuners?Many thanks!
