TRNW-2: Ultrasonic Cleaner

I have a cheap one , similar to what Harbor Freight sells, it heats and
does its sonic thing, I bought it to clean brass rifle and pistol cases,
I reload most all of my ammo I shoot, using distilled water and adding a
solution specifically for brass cases in it I have not been impressed with
its cleaning ability , it might work different with a higher quality unit
? or when you use solvent in it ? that I don't know

I personally don't see the need for that level of cleaning on a techm
or solenoids, if there is enough metal to warrant something like that I'm
not trusting the techm or solenoid, if its just dirty fluid you're
cleaning I've had no issue using brake cleaner and a blow gun , I reuse
better than 90% of all techms with no issues, I only replace them if
there was an unexplained delay that the unit didn't reveal, or I have a
code that would make me think a solenoid is no good

The late Scott Hetrick had a machine he and an engineer built that when
he bolted the techms to a manifold of sorts it pulsed fluid through the
solenoids while activating the solenoids, and he had developed a way to
determine if they functioned correctly. but it was a very involved
process
