Trouble shooting for automatic transmissions. Most complete guides, goes
far beyond guides initially put out by auto manufacturers and normally
reproduced by publishers of manuals.
Reasonably priced at $150 for one location.
Easy, menu driven operation. Works on any IBM compatible system with DOS
2.0 or later. "TransDoc" must be installed on a hard drive and requires
1.5 meg. of disk space. It can be run from DOS and can also run through
Windows.
Good coverage of domestic units.
Import units at this time include only the indexes to technical
literature and ATSG bulletins. More extensive coverage will be added
with updates.
"TransDoc" is very current and will be kept current with periodic low
cost updates. No need to replace the whole system.
"TransDoc" includes a power flow chart for each trans - a good training
aid, and a good reminder for the "Pro". Includes trouble codes and
solenoid information for electronic units.
"TransDoc" can be an excellant sales tool, customers are impressed to
see their problem diagnosed by computer.
Includes specifications for adjustments and torque values.
Easy to print any page for use at the bench - no worry about oily finger
prints in expensive manuals.
"TransDoc" allows you to easily add your own "File" with tips, specs,
parts info, or any comments. These can then be accessed from the menu
for the trans involved. These files are protected and will not be overwritten
by our updates. This feature can also be used to work up a reminder page,
covering changes, adjustments, trouble spots to watch, etc. Just print the page
as a reference for your technician.
"TransDoc" includes for each trans covered, an index for "Transmission
Digest" technical articles since late 1987 and an index of ATSG
bulletins since 1986. Gives issue, page number, and brief description of the
article or bulletin. Now you can locate articles or bulletins in just a
few seconds. This feature itself makes "TransDoc" a worthwhile addition
to your technical references.
