Any of you know if this thing is rebuildable and where parts might be purchased in US? Also if it is not easy or fairly simple like a T56. I saw a bearing kit on ebay from the UK. Customer is complaining of noise in neutral and 3rd but apparently no metal in fluid and drives fine, just noisey.
Or if any of my California or other states with lots of Euro cars know who builds these tunits that way I can send this customer that direction. This unit came from some performance transmission place in Germany but they will not sell parts and want the unit back to rebuild again and it's the 2nd time it failed after they fixed it from original purchase from what i was told and only lasted a year from last repair.
The car is some modified early 2000s BMW.
