TRNW-2: 6F35 solenoid question

Forscan I don't think has the interface to create a strategy number via solenoid band locations last I checked. IDS used to be able to do it.

This is a gen 2 6F35, right?

I would just pick a band 3 solenoid for your replacement so you're hitting the average psi and don't have to worry about changing or matching the original band number. You'll always be good with a 3.

I haven't had any luck finding suppliers keeping any of these solenoids in stock. WIT had 1 or 2 of the gen 2 6R80 solenoids but haven't see any at Transtar.

Here's the rostra numbers for band 3 NH and NL Gen 2/3 6F35 and the OE numbers

Subject: TRNW-2: 6F35 solenoid question

Ford does sell the individual shift solenoids separately, has anyone tried replacing just one of them and then programming in the strategy for that one solenoid ? I've no experience with Forscan myself, but we've recently installed it on one of our laptops and used it once to install strategy on a 10R80, but that is the extent of our experience , I've got a unit with a Solenoid B issue , and don't really want to buy a solenoid body which is over $400
