TRNW-2: Chevy Active Fuel Management Killing 6L80's?

    From my experience  the 4-5-6 clutches are burnt as a result of the
customer continuing to drive the vehicle for a good while after it starts
shuddering,  the filter stops up at least partially and the 4-5-6's are
starved for fluid after that until the filter stops most of the way up and
they burn.

   An afm system that is failing, whether due to lifters partially
collapsing or cam wear can be misdiagnosed as a tcc shudder,  I have run
into that a couple times myself
