TRNW-2: 4L60E 2-3 Flare Question

A gauge would be helpful, to check line rise, as far as replacing the
MAF sensor , what did you replace it with ? one from a parts store?
unless it was a Delphi part, or actual AC Delco , chances are it doesn't
work correctly , Delphi makes the MAF's for AC Delco, I've not seen an
aftermarket MAF that worked correctly yet,

As a quick test you can unplug the MAF and drive it with it unplugged,
if the flare goes away its related to the MAF, since its two completely
different units I'm betting on it being a MAF problem, you should also
check the air filter, I've found most customers seldom ever change them,
I've pulled them out so stopped up I don't understand how the engine ran.
