TRNW-2: Programming a GM Pickup Shifter

I want to post this because the 1st time we replaced a Gear Shift Control Module on a 2020-up pickup we like to have never figured out how to get it working.  After programming the K212 Gear Shift Module highlight the Gear Shift Control Module BUT instead of clicking next select Serial Data Authentication Configuration just to the left of next.  The next tip the ignition has to be OFF or to be correct turn off service mode.  By the way we have replaced several of these for transmission codes.
