TRNW-2: 68rfe caged spring assembly

The spring assembly between UD molded piston and balance piston in the
input drum assembly, where the tabs break off, at one of the shops I talk
to, they break the rest of the tabs off and run it.  Do any of you do
this?  I have always been getting new OE caged spring assemblies.
