Is that the same Jimmy Taylor from Alaska?
FJDS is now a total joke. I installed 132.04 and was able to reprogram the DPS6 I had that we replaced the clutch and TCM on. That was first thing yesterday morning just before my 3-day subscription was expiring. I had been trying to reprogram this thing for 3 days while Ford's server was down. Maybe they switched to a different server and that's why they needed to update the software again. Never the less, I needed to reprogram another Ford later in the day. I figured my 3-days was up but tried to login to FJDS again anyway. It logged in fine but when the FJDS program tries to open I get an error that says, "Unable to Start FJDS. Error Code 0".
I went back to purchase another subscription and it hit me. If we buy 9 more 3-day subscriptions at $120 each, we just paid enough for the one year subscription at $1,200. We program way more than 10 Fords in a year. So it only makes sense to buy into the 1-year deal. So I purchase the 1-Year subscription. I go back and try to login to FJDS. Same thing. Unable to Start FJDS. Error Code 0.
I rebooted my computer. Tried removing the software and re-installing it for the 5th time. Nothing works. And it's past their support time since they're on the east coast.
When I looked at my subscriptions, it still showed the 3-day expiring that day but it didn't show the time that it expires. Never the less, it's expired but it's still there. Then it listed my 1-year subscription below that. I am thinking their software was seeing the expired subscription and failing the login without recognizing the new subscription. I just checked this morning and it only shows the 1-year subscription. Hopefully I can reprogram again.

Just received this update on Ford's FJDS software that was just released.
"On Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 12th, Ford informed us that FJDS 132.04 had been posted and was available for download. According to Ford, this update should resolve the login/file download issues.
Field reports say that FDRS is functional again, but IDS is intermittently unavailable.
Additionally, Ford will be requiring that PCs used for their tools have 8GB of RAM starting in January 2026 and 16GB by the end of Q3/beginning of Q4. "
Since the September update there has been several issues with the FJDS and IDS software. Some of those issues were resolved by uninstalling the previous version of the FJDS software and then installing the latest version.
Since there were problems the last time with the FJDS update version, I recommend to be proactive and update your FJDS before you need it to program, and consider uninstalling FJDS then installing the newest version as a clean installation. This should prevent any issues that was experienced with the September update.
Now about the change in RAM requirement. Hold off on buying a new computer for now. Unless you're already considering upgrading your laptop to something new, keep using what you have. Many of you already meet the 8GB RAM requirement for the first of 2026. And the 16 GB RAM for the later part of 2026 likely is not a concern. While we don't have the software yet, requirements like these are usually due a top tier software recommendations. The FJDS software should continue to run on the 8GB of RAM most of you have now.
