TRNW-2: Say NO to gfx filters!

Thanks Justin for the information and sharing.  I've been long scared of the filter issue.  We changed over to OE filters for a lot of our units wherever possible during the last five years or so.  The aftermarket stuff is getting worse and worse at this point.

Transtar #E104010A appears to be the actual AC Delco part

Even the old stuff is junk, we purchased a filter for an old TH400 and the sealing grommet was undersized significantly where it would not fit over the plastic pickup tube.  Sent another, same problem.  Ended up using the original grommet with no issues.

It's a race to the bottom out there on parts and we all get to pay if we're not careful.

My supplier changed the filters I have been using on 6l80s to a gfx brand. Well I have had 2 come backs in the past 2 weeks with filters cracks that have been out less than a month. I guess I will  only be using oe filters on these units now. Just another headache I have to deal with. I probably have 30 or so units out with this filter in them.
