I will take one for the team and let yall know what happens with just a TC
replacement, I do know shops will yank an 8L slap a converter in it, put it
back in , pull vb and install a shift kit and ship it. The people i know
who own shops are mostly selling 9T dealer units as some are super cheap
and some are expensve like this one.  Fortunalty the owners dad is helping
her make this decisions as he was a tech for many years.  They know
slapping a tc in it may get them another 30000 miles or 300 miles.  I might
take it partially apart and check the pump valves and replace the filter,
haven't decided yet. Sonnax has very little if pump valves are worn so i
guess if any LU valves are worn you just buy a pump.  This will be fun.
